2021年4月，江苏省人民政府批准设立常州幼儿师范高等专科学校。学校位于常州市武进区常武中路28号，紧邻常州大学城，现有56个教学班，学生3013人，拥有7所附属幼儿园，是常州市唯一一所以培养幼儿师资为主的公办师范院校。

InApril2021,ThePeople'sGovernmentofJiangsuProvinceapprovedtheestablishmentofChangzhouEarlyChildhoodEducationCollege(hereinafterreferredtoasCollege).CollegeislocatedatNo.28,MiddleChangwuRoad,WujinDistrict,Changzhoucity,adjacenttoChangzhouUniversityTown.Ithasnow56classes,3013studentsand7affiliatedkindergartens.ItistheonlypublicnormalcollegeinChangzhoucitythatfocusesontrainingpreschoolteachers.

学校现有专任教师189名，具有副高职称及以上教师70人，其中正高职称教师4人，研究生（含在读）122人。学校师资结构合理，办学质量上乘，共获得省市各项竞赛金银铜奖三百余项，近三年连续获得江苏省师范生教学基本功大赛优秀组织奖，各专业考证通过率达95%以上，近五年“5+2”专转本考试录取率超90.1%。学校形成了“注重师德养成，强化职业技能，发展艺术素养，园校协同育人”的办学思路和“弘扬师范传统，实施品牌德育，持续提高质量，深耕艺术教育”的办学特色。

学校现有五年制学前教育、数字媒体艺术设计、旅游管理三大专业；三年制学前教育、艺术设计两大专业，形成了以师范专业为主、非师范专业为辅的格局。其中主干专业五年制学前教育为江苏省品牌专业，数字媒体艺术设计专业为江苏省特色专业。
